audio on movies

Postby staytunad » Sat Jan 27, 2018 7:49 pm

I was gone on vacation for a week and when I returned the audio on the movies is choppy, video appears normal. How do I fix it, can I fix it? Live tv is fine.

I started having the same issue, many new releases, the audio does not work.

Mollys Game
The Post
Darkest Hour

Other movies work fine, live feed works fine.
I'm running a Mag 254, tried adjusting the buffering, made no difference

Also updated firmware to latest release, made no difference on these movies.

Thanks for the tip, I've rebooted my box many times, doesn't make any difference.

Have you adjusted your buffering? What buffering setting do you have?

Strange how this just started happening, only on specific movies.
Roman J Israel, Esq just released,no sound , but Earth: One Amazing Day works fine.

Updated software to latest Mag254 software and now there is no audio on new movies. Old movies and live tv are fine. I tried adjusting different audio settings but still no change including numerous reboots. ugh

I'm thinking of moving my subscription to my firestick if there isn't problems there.

I Was on Roku, then all the code problems started, I switched to Mag, now having issues with Mag.

I just followed the Dev mode procedure to get Roku running again and all movies are working under Roku.

There must be a incompatibility with Mag firmware and Radiosity, I was running the latest firmware, but many Mag people say to go back to a previous Mag Firmware.

Roku for now.

The audio issues don't seem to be caused by the device.
I say that because I have a brand new Nvidia Shield TV and am experiencing the same choppy on and off audio distortions.
I believe others here are getting the same sound issues as I am when watching some movies. The last one for me was The Square
which BTW I don't recommend... LOL
