I am having the same problem. After enabling the developer mode, the Roku device just restarts and disables the developer mode. Is there any help here?

FYI: I have the 8.0.1 build 4018-29 update on my Roku Premiere and am still up...

Would advise everyone that is still up and running such as myself, not to disable developer mode after installing the Dev apk onto the Roku.
This has been pointed out before.. People should read and learn from others' experiences.. JMO

Good Luck to us all..

UPDATE: I too am in the same boat as the rest of you. Just had a longer go at it this time..
My Radiosity has disappeared as well...

I'm guess here but any new Roku devices are going to be 8.0 right? I wonder if they can be reverted back?

Obviously there has been an issue with the recent Roku update. What I have not heard is a response from management as to what, if any, measures are being taken in order to rectify the situation. A simple recognition that they are aware of the problem and pursuing a solution would be reassuring.

there was an issue but so far i have been able to fix every roku i have seen. by doing this

so this has worked for me so far.
1 goto roku.com and make a brand new roku account
2 do a factory reset on your roku and put it on the new roku account.
3 now you should be able to put your roku into developer mode with a password of atleast 3 letters and 3 numbers min. and it should now stay in dev mode.
4 go ahead load the loader file to the roku and your DO NOT remove dev mode leave it on
